My maternal grandmother was one of the finest women I ever knew. Every bit as wonderful as my mother. Like my mom, she was totally selfless. Her parents put her on a ship from Italy to New York when she was just 14 years old, in the late 19th century. She married, had six children—3 boys and 3 girls—and lost two: one girl at 20 and a boy at 14 from disease, probably the Spanish flu. She lost her husband from an accident on their farm. I once asked her why she never remarried. She looked at me and said, “I could never bring a strange man into our house with young girls.”
When she needed to apply discipline to me and my twin brother, you knew when she was about to terminate the chaos and, in her Italian accent, would bark, “Enough is a too much.”
This article is my way of venting my pet peeves and expressing my frustration at watching my country go through too much nonsense.
As a nation, we have had enough…enough corruption, enough treason, certainly enough sedition, enough investigations with not enough indictments. We have enough people who want to live on the taxpayer’s dime, enough ignorance, enough bureaucracy, enough politicians who have overstayed their welcome or usefulness, and too many illegal aliens and others who have no intention of assimilating.
The nation is in trouble; Trump knows it and is trying to clean it up. The Democrats are fighting him every step of the way, inciting hatred like I have never seen before. They, along with the media, are even openly hoping his health will fail. When Trump’s MRI showed him in excellent health, they were crushed. These are the people that want to govern our country. They are engaged in a veritable declaration of war on America. They want a socialist, one-party nation, and Trump is in the way.
I am convinced the Democrat Party has become an organized crime syndicate. They have no core values. They have opened our borders, letting in millions of unvetted migrants, many of them hardened criminals. These migrants have caused the deaths and injuries of thousands of Americans due to their murders, rapes, drunk driving, thefts, and incompetent driving skills. Cheating on elections is the cost of doing business.
Democrats accuse Republicans of what they are doing, routinely ignoring federal law. They pushed same-sex marriage even after Bill Clinton signed the Defense of Marriage Act. They promote and expose children to transgenderism, causing harm to countless young people by subjecting them to irreversible procedures under the false promise of changing their gender. They succeeded in persuading some of our most esteemed hospitals that it could yield profits.
To the unaware, the Democrat Party is in the process of turning fully communist. It’s still in its transitional stages, mixing capitalism and socialism. Democrat politicians prefer to call it democratic socialism. They follow Karl Marx’s recommendation of its origins while they deliver their ‘For the People’ speeches. The ultimate goal remains unchanged: communism.
Cook County, IL, just made permanent a guaranteed income of $500 a month. Ignorant people fail to understand that if the government provides you with ‘found’ money, it effectively owns you. It’s the Democrat’s modern slavery. They have lots of experience.
New York City recently elected an outspoken communist, Zohran Mamdani, who has openly stated his intentions. These include seizing control of the means of production, establishing government-operated grocery stores, abolishing private property, and providing free bus transportation. His ultimate vision seems to encompass the elimination of capitalism and private vehicles. Like all communists, he will want travel restrictions, both domestic and international. While Mamdani is a young idealist with misguided beliefs and a skilled orator, he lacks real-world experience. History has seen men like him before. They are dangerous. The fact that New York elected him reflects poorly on our education system, which is one of the worst in the developed world.
I must admit, I was somewhat disappointed in Trump’s reaction to it all. I thought he was a bit too accommodating. We will watch with interest whether Trump goes along or uses his newfound relationship to steer him to the middle.
The current state of the Democrat Party and the warmongering neo-conservative branch of the Republican Party demonstrates the dire need for term limits. Both parties embarked on useless wars and crazy spending with nothing to show for it except the inflation that went with it.
Biden totally mismanaged an Afghanistan withdrawal, ignored federal law by allowing tens of millions of illegals into the country, and then had taxpayers pay for their healthcare, room, and board because almost all of them had no means of support.
Getting the entire healthcare industry to lie about the efficacy of COVID vaccines and directing ineffective treatment protocols while ignoring a cheap, proven regimen was quite an accomplishment and a disgusting display of greed and control. It took a promise of money to destroy public trust in healthcare, and it will take years to restore.
Trump is declaring a real war on drugs, taking action against the drug trade rather than just giving a speech, and the Democrats are in an uproar with accusations of war crimes.
It is just coming out that Minnesota has diverted as much as a billion dollars of Minnesota taxpayer dollars to terrorist groups in Somalia. Is Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) involved?
Democrats come from Hell. Their state governments show a set of values almost foreign to American values. Their presidential administrations are sub-par. They always distract you from what they are doing. They are secretive, corrupt, and only care about elections. They dance with sedition routinely. They promise everything and deliver chaos. They consistently manipulate judges to comply with their wishes, regardless of the law or the Constitution. They preach love and hate everybody. They have long since broken the contract with the American people.
Demons pull us down while saints lift us up.
When you get to a point where you scream, ‘Enough!’ you have already gone too far.
