The list of complaints following the FBI’s failure to alert New Orleans and local police that such a terrorist possibility existed is growing. The fact that a lone Jihadist so easily carried out the attack sent two messages: we were not ready, so we can expect the deadly Islamic attacks to continue. The American public cannot depend on Federal Law Enforcement for protection. It has been corrupted to defend the Progressivism of Democrat politicians over the US Constitution. I think we’re in for a long haul of terrorist outrages.

The FBI’s initial response tells us they did not have a clue. That attack was a message to all Americans that 2025 will be dangerous, Donald Trump or not. The FBI’s intelligence failures left Americans exposed and open to further outrages. It was a harbinger of our more profound problems, a lack of responsible bipartisan leadership. Political leadership, however, it’s defined, is now in Republican hands but still infected by enough RINOs who believe they can guide the GOP’s future back to supporting the military-industrial complex, i.e., wars do jobs. The problem with the GOP is that if they can’t all agree on every point in any plan to move forward together, they do nothing, abandon the plan, and melt away. The Democrats are not slow. They’ll pick up the pieces and run with it, and we will be headed back to a Marxist perdition.

On November 5th, 2024, the radical Progressive Democrat party died on the tip of their “woke” sword. This ideology demands imposing ideals proven unworkable again and again with schemes that fly in the face of common sense, like wokeism, genderism, and males in women’s sports, among others. None of these “Woke” points are in our Constitution, including changing the purpose of the military into an exercise in social engineering at the expense of fulfilling their intended mission of breaking things and killing people. To the alienated patriots in America’s fly-over country, many having done their duty to the country, such activities appear to be beyond just radical but dangerous as well.

Trump sees and understands the problems left to us by the Democrats. By his selection of quality executives untainted by previous association with the deep state, he expects his administration executives to prioritize closing the border to the flow of illegal invaders, expunging the criminal elements already here, restoring the military’s morale, and resetting its constitutional purpose. The military, especially the Navy, needs rebuilding to face the Chinese threat. Trump’s choice of Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense is a step in that direction. Hegseth’s bonafides cannot be denied. He has combat experience and has witnessed the decline of the all-volunteer military with the Pentagon’s “woke” ideological purges of MAGA soldiers and sailors, of which he himself was a victim. Apart from rebuilding the military, Pete’s mission is to reverse the Biden and Obama years of anti-conservative indoctrination and return the military to its primary task, defense.

But, back to the terrorist threat and the FBI. One wonders what the reaction of the FBI’s field agent is when a young FBI ASAC with a nose ring contradicts the New Orleans Chief of Police that the attack was not a terrorist attack. Who believes who? The agents must be confused, if not embarrassed, and certainly angry. The Washington Times newspaper got busy and sought out and interviewed many field agents. Their responses were as expected:

“Rank-and-file FBI agents were taken aback by Ms. Duncan’s (New Orleans ASAC) presentation and her comments. The new FBI management has to put in basic decorum rules because the bureau should look like the ’Men in Black,’ that they’re all uniform — that they’re transparent,” an FBI agent said. He said the public should “see the bureau, not somebody with a ring in their nose. Who would go on TV with a ring in their nose?” Another agent said. “Who the hell would ever say it’s not a terrorist event when there’s an ISIS flag flying on the back of a truck? They call that a clue.” That was a quote, and I wonder why an agent referred to the attack as an “event.” I am just wondering about the FBI’s mindset.

Anyway, the Times article reported quotes:

“You have two major events — the Sugar Bowl and New Year’s Eve, and the SAC is out of town. that’s why she (Duncan) was out there,” said yet another FBI agent. “they left nobody in charge.” Another agent said it is not surprising that Ms. Duncan did not initially call the New Orleans incident terrorism because it didn’t fit the FBI leadership’s current definition of terrorism. “It ain’t terrorism unless they have a MAGA hat on. For the last three years, all of the new agents, that’s all they know. It’s going after the right-wing or Trump supporters,” the agent said. “this is endemic with the headquarters.”

It’s refreshing to know there are still real Americans working within the ranks of federal law enforcement who know the score. Newer tainted agents should be fired or retrained on the Constitution, and rule of law, and the FBI’s Directorship should never fall to compliant lawyers within the DoJ. They must come either from outside or from within the ranks of the Bureau’s agent corps. Meritocracy should be the first measure of consideration.

We still have that existential Islamic threat lurking out there, ready to strike at will. US citizens must be prepared to confront the dangers when they appear and support our local police when needed. It will take a while for the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies to regain Americans’ trust. In the meantime, trust your instincts first. We can only hope!

Remember, freedom is the goal; the Constitution is the only way. Now, let’s help Make America Great Again!

Happy New Year!
