Back in the 50’s and 60’s and into the 70’s even, when TV was still mostly black and white. News corporations, ABC, NBC & CBS were exploring the realms of introducing color, Americans were fed TV news every night at 6:00 pm by Walter Cronkite, Huntley and Brinkley and a couple others Legacy luminaries who’s views we accepted implicitly as the truth. In the meantime, Marxism was slowly laying the groundwork to fundamentally change America, its first target, the Democratic Party! That they have succeeded beyond doubt. The Democrat party, no longer embracing American constitutional values, is unsalvageable, having descended into the dark realms of Marxism, violence, and corruption by ignoring the realities of life while trying to drag enough Americans along with them into their unholy alliance with degeneracy to change America fundamentally. To help them in their endeavor, they coopted the mainstream Legacy media as well, thereby controlling the mass means of communication for Americans.
The few Americans who caught on to the political dangers challenging our accepted Constitutional norms and tried to warn us were laughed at and derided as un-American “conspiracy theorists.” Today, fifty years later, they’ve added to that by calling us homophobes, racists, and Islamophobes while more and more Americans are starting to realize the real dangers coming at us as well, especially since Charlie Kirk was murdered by one of them. The Conservative movement in America has since developed its own luminaries to counter the decades of leftist BS that we listened to and basically ignored because we’re busy with our own lives. We trusted the Republican Party to do what was right. Alas, the GOP seems incapable of getting its act together in unity to save America from Communism, until Donald Trump’s second term. For the GOP, it’s time to “fish or cut bait.”
Not all GOPers are so afflicted. Among them, the outspoken Senator Josh Hawley, R-Mo, opines on the many subjects he views as inimical to American best interests. One is Artificial Intelligence. In remarks to the National Conservatism Conference on 04 Sept. 25, Senator Hawley warned about the new technological dangers facing our American Constitution, our Christian religion, our free enterprise, and our free will —goals Democrats have been pursuing for decades to abandon. Does AI give them the tools to succeed? How do we abandon traditions based on accepted codes of morality and give them up to a machine? It’s an old story draped in new clothes. Sen. Hawley recounted the saga of Gilgamesh, a historical character who developed a fear of death and an obsession with escaping it. He embarked on a mighty quest to find a survivor of the Great Flood, seeking to learn from him how to cheat mortality. He was told of a plant somewhere that would save him, Marijuana, probably, and of course, he failed because a snake ate the plant, leaving him still human and mortal. But the story, according to Sen. Hawley, connects “our humanity to our mortality. Our dignity is bound up with our frailty. Our human lives—as finite as they may be—are worth living.”
Then, today, along comes AI —the great new hope to solve all our problems. AI, created by hopeful modern tech acolytes of the Gilgamesh saga, who themselves hope to cheat death, cannot be moved away from their goal: immortality. Look at us today, addicted to handheld devices filled with electronic BS that satisfies our desires. There is a constantly running ad on my iPhone called “Chamba” that, in my opinion, is solely to entice children to become addicted to games and gambling. If the newer generation becomes addicted to gambling on their Smartphones, how are they going to become educated to have a job? They don’t! Sen. Hawley said: “They hail it (AI) as the greatest breakthrough for humanity since the Industrial Revolution, maybe the printing press. They predict it will triple American economic output. They insist it will defeat China. They claim it “will save the world”—that is an actual quote.” Is AI to become our new religion? Not too many folks today will remember the eugenicist, Julian Huxley. As far back as 1957 (I graduated High School in 1957) Huxley predicted that “a thousand million years of evolution” would lead to a moment when man, harnessing his “modern control of physical nature” would “transcend himself”—would achieve a new state of being.” We are being conned into believing that nonsense today, but there is a growing resistance to that claim, such as Senator Hawley is doing, bringing it to our attention.
What adverse effects will AI provide us? A reader of mine opined: “There will be a lot of unemployed workers as a result of AI (both blue collar and white collar). This will incentivize the ruling class to create UBI (Universal Basic Income), which will enslave more people and make them more dependent on the power brokers. People who ‘own nothing and create nothing’ are of no use to anyone, so they will eventually be exterminated. They are doing this now by manufacturing viruses and unleashing them on us, spraying chemicals in the upper atmosphere without our knowledge or consent, bio-engineering ticks so that getting bitten by one makes you allergic to eating meat (this is real, by the way), or bio-engineering our food to make us sick and unhealthy. We are truly getting hit from every angle, and as long as we remain divided amongst ourselves, they will continue to have their way.” That’s a profound observation! Does it classify as a conspiracy theorist? Probably not, anymore. The evidence for it is growing.
Trump’s return to power was such an astounding win for national conservatism that it has pushed the leaderless Marxists Democrats into a crisis. But our victory isn’t complete. In the end, victory will depend on whether the Trump administration’s nationalist and conservative policies succeed and whether his successors can carry them on. On that, I am very hopeful. They will grow when people like Charlie Kirk, Josh Hawley, and many of the growing Blog promoters continue their ridicule of the degenerate leadership in the Democrat Party, who are stumbling around like souls without a cause.
How will AI be employed? Against us or for us? Can we control it by laws, rules, and appeals to common sense? Probably not! Like holding our smartphones close to see what’s next, we understand that advancing the scientific frontier is as much an obsession for its developers as it is for users. Whatever the situation, we have to face it.
Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, stay prepared!
