What the demented Democrats don’t get what Donald Trump is all about, is about, is the fact that his policies, both foreign and domestic are business based. Trump kicked off a four-day Middle East trip to focus on dealmaking with Americas key Mideast allies. Problems remaining in the diplomatic background are still the concerns about Iran’s nuclear program and the war in Gaza. That’s exactly why Trump made the middle-east the first stop on his foreign policy drive, to convince the Arabs their future lies in the broader aspects of their economy, no longer simply clinging to the old mantra on oil, “we have it and you don’t!” Trump’s objective is to “Let’s all make money without killing one another!” His comments to Arab audiences receive loud applause and positive response. He promoted “Peace through strength” and they all understood it. Before Biden ruined Trumps Abraham Accords deal, they started growing their economies that include Israel. Astute Arab leaders totally understood the benefits there. Iran did not!
President Trump is determined to restart the Abraham Accords agreed to by Saudi Arabia and other Arab states, so casually cast aside by the Biden administration in favor of continued chaos everywhere. After four years of chaos worldwide, conflicts remain unsolvable except by war. Democrats no longer possess people capable of performing diplomacy as it should be performed. John Kerry for example, was a pro Iran disaster. He could better have spent his time selling his wife’s ketchup and pickle sauce.
In Trumps trip to the Middle-East, agreements with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani will end up generating an economic exchange worth at least $1.2 trillion. Like his Abraham Accords of four years ago, Trump’s newest deal was a landmark deal that will drive innovation and prosperity, bring to American manufacturing positive economic leadership, and turn America into a new Golden Age, “Since President Trump took office, his commitment to American manufacturing and innovation has attracted trillions of dollars in investments and global commercial deals. Allies like Qatar are partnering in the United States success.”
Just what was in the $1.2 trillion dollar Qatar deal? A $96 billion deal to buy up to 210 Boeing 787 Dreamliner and 777X airplanes with GE Aerospace engines. They are made in America and that is Boeing’s largest wide body order ever and the largest-ever 787 orders. When Boeing finally sheds its Democrat mandated DEI BS and gets the Unions back on the production line, 154,000 U.S. jobs annually will be created totaling over one million jobs in the United States during production and delivery. Also in the deal is a statement of intent that could lead to $38 billion in investments at Qatar’s Al Udeid Air Base as well as other air defense and maritime security capabilities. The signings prove Trumps intent to grow Qatar’s defense investment in the US-Qatar security partnership to enhance regional deterrence while benefiting Americas industrial base. All eyes are facing Iran and, while Israel remains Islam’s little Satan, it’s the great Satan, America, where their future happiness Emirates
So much for Qatar, but the big Arab fish is still Saudi Arabia. Americans still remember, it was Saudi and Qatar Arabs who brought down the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and a corn field in Pennsylvania. Be that as it may, Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, signed a $600 billion Strategic Economic Partnership agreement that covers energy, mining and defense, the usual stuff. These new agreements are aimed to drive the growth of the US-Qatar bilateral commercial relationship, create thousands of well-paying jobs and open new trade and investment opportunities for both countries.
Then there’s a dozen other smaller agreements to increase cooperation between their government’s militaries, justice departments and cultural institutions. Never to let an opportunity go by, after Prince Mohammed has already committed to $600 billion in new Saudi investment in the U.S., but Trump teased $1 trillion would be even better.
Trumps arrival was received with all the pomp and ceremony the Arabs could present. I remember, the scene in the movie Patton, with Patton (Scott) standing with the Moroccan Chief of State while gaily decorated troops passed in review on horse and camel back, marching to brass trumpets and drums, a grand sight indeed. Not quite so this time. Royal Saudi Air Force F-15‘s provided an honorary escort for Air Force One as it approached the kingdom’s International Airport. Prince Mohammed met president Trump with a formal greeting followed by lunch at the Royal Court at Al Yamamah Palace, amidst guests in an ornate room with accented with blue and gold and massive crystal chandeliers while Prince Mohammed was animated and smiling.
It was a distinct contrast to Biden’s first visit to Saudi Arabia, Joe choosing to bump elbows with the Prince instead of shaking hands, and then to grovel about Americas growing oil prices. That didn’t go well! For Americans, it had the patina of ineffective diplomatic clumsiness and started the rumors about Biden’s failing health. Trump on the other hand, picked Saudi Arabia as his first stop because the Saudi’s pledged to make big investments in the US. For purposes of protocol, Pope Francis’ funeral intervened and Italy, was Trumps first overseas visit. Where’s the UK in all this? Falling apart!
The three countries on Trump’s itinerary — Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates — are places where the Trump Organization, run by Trump’s two oldest sons, is developing major real estate projects. They include a high-rise tower in Jeddah, a luxury hotel in Dubai and a golf course and villa complex in Qatar.
Trump is demonstrating that his transactional strategy for international politics is paying off even as the demented Democrats criticize claiming his global tariff war and his approach to Russia’s war on Ukraine is isolating the U.S. from allies. That’s to be expected. They are Marxists after all. He’s going to really drive them crazy when he starts building Trump Hotel’s all over the place.
Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, we must look to 2026 and not lose sight of our main goal, restoring our Constitutional Republic not establishing a Democracy.
