“THE AMERICANS” and the America First Citizens will save America from the Democratic Party and the Democratic Socialists Party. This has been a continuing project of the Stand Up America US Foundation. Our primary goal is to restore the Constitution and preserve the Republic. We must ensure a secure future for every child. We are Americans before we are Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, or members of any other partisan group.
The Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, the Federalist Papers, and the Rule of Law—rooted in the principles of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness—must be taught to children early, observed as adults, and selflessly honored throughout life. The American mindset belongs in an Independent Constitutionalist Arena, and “The American Papers” are designed to help establish these beliefs. Democratic socialism typically refers to broad
Principles and Priorities: In contemporary U.S. politics, democratic socialists generally focus on the following pillars:
De-commodification of Basic Needs: The belief that essentials for human life should be guaranteed as public rights rather than market commodities:
Healthcare: Universal, single-payer healthcare (such as Medicare for All).
Education: Tuition-free public colleges, trade schools, and universal pre-K.
Housing: Robust tenant protections, rent control, and major investments in public or social housing.
- Labor and Economic Democracy: Expand working people’s power through stronger unions, worker cooperatives, codetermination (worker representation on corporate boards), and public ownership of critical utilities.
- Environmental Justice: Systemic economic transformation to combat climate change, often framed around a Green New Deal that pairs renewable energy investment with union job creation.
- Civil and Human Rights: Intersectional advocacy for racial justice, immigrant rights, criminal justice reform, and LGBTQ+ equality.
- Electoral & Anti-Corporate Reform: Removing private and corporate money from politics, public campaign financing, and expanding voting rights.
The Roots of Anti-Americanism and the “Degeneracy Thesis”
Discussions on anti-Americanism have, in most cases, lacked a precise explanation of what the sentiment entails beyond a general disfavor. The author and expatriate William Russell Melton argues that much of this criticism originates from the perception that the U.S. acts as a global hegemony. Historically, this sentiment has deep roots. In the mid- to late-eighteenth century, some European intellectuals advanced a theory that the New World’s landmasses were inherently inferior to Europe. Proponents of this “degeneracy thesis,” originally proposed by French naturalist Comte de Buffon in his Historic Naturelle (1766) and supported by Voltaire, held that America’s climatic extremes and humidity physically weakened both men and animals. Purported evidence included the smallness of American fauna and dogs that supposedly stopped barking.
The Dutch philosopher Cornelius de Pauw became its leading proponent, attacking the continent’s native people as feeble. James Ceaser notes that this denunciation was partly motivated by the German government’s fear of mass emigration; de Pauw was called upon to convince Germans that the New World was inferior, later influencing Immanuel Kant in a similar direction. Authors James W. Ceaser and Philippe Roger interpret this theory as a “prehistory of anti-Americanism”—a historical constant that repeats itself.
Current Political Crossroads
Today, this ideological divide manifests in widespread domestic protests. After his January 20 inauguration, President Trump signed a flurry of executive orders to reduce America’s 2.2 million-strong federal workforce, target diversity programs, and scrub gender references from government web pages.
In response, opponents of the administration have converged on cities across the U.S. In Washington, demonstrations near the U.S. Capitol drew hundreds marching toward the Department of Labor building, coinciding with a visit from officials from Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Protesters carried signs reading “Don’t let democracy die,” “Elon cheats on video games,” and “Checks and balances make America great,” while chanting at lawmakers to “Do your job!” Additional rallies have targeted Trump’s efforts to diminish or eliminate the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), which the administration has accused of being corrupt.
The Path Forward: Proposed Solutions
If the United States, the Constitution, and “We the People” are to survive, the following key issues must be peacefully and quickly resolved:
1. Re-establishing American Leadership & Election Integrity
To ensure the American people legitimately elect politicians to federal seats of power, we must eliminate vulnerabilities to rigged setups or power-broker manipulation. Use AI to validate legal voters and voting. The solution is to return to paper ballots and make photo ID mandatory for all voters.
2. Averting Economic Destruction
The unchecked political evil of excessive spending and self-serving laws has grown for decades. Since the Income Tax was established in 1913, the political class has confiscated “We the People’s” wages while benefiting from insider trading and foreign influence. The solution is to abolish the Federal Reserve central banking system and make the United States Treasury the only authorized monetary authority. By bypassing the money masters, an honest Congress and President could make America interest-free on its national debt within 60 days. Consequently, the federal income tax system could be entirely eliminated, lifting an onerous burden from American manufacturing, prompting the return of trillions in offshore corporate money, and sparking unprecedented economic prosperity.
3. Reducing the Federal Government
The federal government has expanded far beyond necessity, common sense, and cost-effectiveness—particularly over the past five years. We must drastically reduce costly, unnecessary federal departments and agencies to curb unchecked spending driven by a lack of congressional budget discipline. Concurrently, we must maintain a strong active-duty, Guard, and Reserve military to keep Americans secure, while firmly stopping illegal immigration across our borders.
4. Support a strong Military, Police, security services, intelligence operations and border security.
